No longer must we fear burning in the eternal fiery pits of Hell. Today is a day of remembering what Christ taught us; you too can rise from the dead to walk the earth again and do stuff. The only bad part is that people only come back from the dead to do one thing… and that’s to eat brains.
Unfortunately, people who take ancient mythology too seriously aren’t going to be much of a snack for Zombie Christ.

Amanda came back to town this weekend to hang out and make preparations for a permanent move back to Alaska. Well, that’s what she told everyone, but she actually just came up to hang out with me and watch UFC 59 at my place, that other crap was just to occupy the rest of her time here. A great time was had by all and as a direct result I’m now completely out of beer. Can’t remember when the last time was that I actually ran out. We finished up the weekend at The Peanut Farm for more beer and food, then saw Amanda off to the airport. Hopefully she’ll be back for good within the next few months.
Pictures are up.

I’ve always been uncertain as to whether hate is a purely evil emotion or if it’s neutral. Perhaps it can even be somewhat good when directed in the right directions. Can’t it be said that if you despise something in the right way it can be constructive by helping you avoid becoming that yourself rather. Too often people who consider themselves to be open-minded tend to embrace every extreme in the book, no matter how inhumane. They might have embraced the laisses-faire ‘evil doesn’t exist’ ideology to excuse themselves. Which is basically zen-fascism.
I tend to try to focus my hatred toward actions as opposed to the people who commit them. Though that’s tough most times given the number of complete fuckholes in the world. Some people can be redeemed, but 9 times out of 10 the person is just a self-centered, self-serving prick.

As an American I recognize it’s my right, nay, my civic duty to wage war. So like a true, red-blooded American I’ve formally declared war on my liver. This weekend I’ve bombed it with something like 500 shots of whiskey. A full and unconditional surrender is surely imminent.
