Military Brainwashing

4:15pm by rudeboy in category: Politics

There’s no way anyone can change my opinion that recruits to our armed services, Army, Navy, Marines, are being systematically brainwashed. I just had a heated discussion with a guy I know who received a CD of these ‘march chants’ from an Army recruiter. Odd thing was they were on a Memorex CD-R disc. Made me think that it’s an under-the-table last resort hand-out to appeal to those who would actually be drawn to the prospect of some mindless violence and senseless killing. Certainly worked in this case…

Now, I’m far from sensitive to your typical violent imagery, but these were some of the most abhorrently violent things I have ever heard, and now after reading what they consisted of I can’t get their fucking lyrics out of my head. Imagine every day exercising to the point of exhaustion, sleeping the bare minimum possible, and chanting about murdering women, children, civilians, etc. There is no way a human being can go through that and not be turned into a sick, twisted, brainwashed, killing-machine.

  3. Ok, I actually finally know the exact day I leave, I wanted to go May 12, but I need one more pay check after that, so I’m leaving May 26 which is a friday, taking the bus to Sudbury staying with a friend Dave and his grrlfriend Maggie (The two I drank scotch with on my way to Toronto for AC/DC) for the night and leaving Sudbury on saturday, I’m staying four weeks with Misty, she already got me a job so I don’t have to find one and everything! Heh, so I leave Alberta mid June, which kind of seem like a long time, but I already know it’ll go quick like a bunny. I’ve tried to cut back my Alberta stay a bit but Misty gave me a guilt trip and got me to promise I’d stay for a bit since I won’t see her for a long time I assume and I haven’t seen her in a long time as it is, so that’s the scoop, Oooh yeaaa.
